I worked with Harry for a number of years before he retired. He was great company. He overcame a difficult start in life and was a very cheery person. He managed to mix equally well with people of all types and from all walks of life. If required Harry always had a witty comment to lighten the mood and come to think of it Harry always had a witty remark or saying whatever the situation. It was good to work with him and I am sure his knowledge of trays and dollies, and how to retrieve them from unauthorised places, will remain legendary for a very long time to come.

Harry will be remembered for his great determination to keep busy tending his beautiful garden, particularly under extreme difficulties with his health. Always there with a smile and a joke, his sense of humour never failed him.

When you played golf with Harry and was having a bad game, a typical Harryism was " play with me not like me " !!
